Research collective of Science School investigates processes of turbulent heat- and mass transfer in complex gas- dynamics conditions that relate to perspective powerplants. Tests showed that existing turbulence models need major updating. Efforts of research collective are directed toward studying gas-dynamics and heat transfer in these conditions. Association of experimenters and specialists in numerical experiment allows to develop reliable methods of calculating heat transfer processes complicated by effect of compressibility, two-phase flow, longtitudal pressure gradient, compression shock etc.
     Throughout many years analysis of different convective heat- and mass transfer enhancement methods were made. New technologies in gas-dynamics thermal stratifications are investigated on bases of heat transfer law on permeable surfaces. Developed program complexes allow to solve conjugated problems of heat transfer in conditions of significant inequality of boudary layers.
